RefWorks: A New Product from ProQuest

Greetings from ProQuest !!!

At the outset ProQuest like to thank you for using ProQuest e-Resources since last 3 years. In continuation to the value addition to our content, ProQuest pleased to inform you that from 2018 we are adding a new product called “RefWorks” without any additional cost. The new RefWorks is a reference management service that supports the needs of students, faculty and librarians. With an improved user experience, full-text management and collaboration features, RefWorks gives students and faculty a tool that enables a more efficient and reliable process for producing research papers. Libraries that offer this powerful service have access to administrative controls that help institutions honor intellectual property rights, and analytics that provide a consistent source of information on patron and content usage.

RefWorks is a completely new way of working with articles, papers and references, and collaborating on research. It's simple to use and it will save you a lot of time. Our trainer will contact each university to demonstrate how to use this reference management tool effectively.

Your users can create an account by going to: http://refworks.proquest.com and registering for an account with their institutional email address.

Alternatively, if you do not use institutional email addresses, users can create an account at this unique URL with any email address:  http://refworks.proquest.com/signup/XXXXXX

Users outside your IP range will need the unique URL listed above, plus an invitation code: (Contact your Librarian)

Please do not post this invitation code publicly as it will give anyone access to RefWorks.

• The Support Center link, accessed from the RefWorks Help button takes users to http://www.proquest.com/go/refworks-help  and is accessible from every screen in RefWorks.  Here you will find user guides admin materials, support, training and webinar records support center page

• Live training webinars to help you quickly get acquainted with RefWorks. Be sure to look for “New RefWorks” in the title of the webinar when you go to register at: http://www.proquest.com/customer-care/training-webinars/
